Dale Carnegie, a leading speaker and trainer in the first half of the twentieth century, developed 30 principles to strengthen relationships, gain cooperation and improving communication with others. Even 80 years after the creation of these principles, their application brings many benefits to both the individual and the team working level in a company.

At the beginning of the year, the book “How to win friends and influence people” was our gift to all colleagues and recorded at the same time, the declaration of 2014 – Dale Carnegie Year in Star Team. In order to get familiar with the 30 principles and  to consistently apply them in our activities, we will carry over the year many activities and events in which we will learn and we will play with these principles in team.

The first event was the launch of Dale Carnegie Hall, which we have assigned a specific role:  the room becomes the space where we can resolve tense situations with colleagues using the principles and where anyone can have some quiet moments for reading. The room was decorated with 30 photos, where our stellars were the performers and illustrated very well the 30 principles of Dale Carnegie.

We prepared a real launch event  with our colleagues and a special guest, Doru Dinu, the trainer  who kept for us the training “Mastering your personal leadership”, after which the idea to build the project Dale Carnegie was born. Although he delivered dozens of courses where he shared Dale Carnegie principles, Doru Dinu confessed that he have never met any other company to achieve such a follow-up and create even a room dedicated to his principles.

Dale Carnegie Hall will therefore be a space where we can familiarize and review the  30 Dale Carnegie principles, where we can resolve tense situations with others or we can spend a few minutes reading. You can find below some pictures with the room and every photo that illustrates the principles.
